Copernicus Beer Brew Program

Overview

Why
The Copernicus Beer Brew Program (CBBP) aims to attract new participants to the Copernicus Beer DAO by incentivizing them to brew beer. By offering rewards and support, the program seeks to create a vibrant community of brewers who contribute to the DAO’s growth and innovation.
What
The CBBP is a year-long program that provides a structured path for new brewers to receive rewards from the Copernicus Beer DAO. Participants are eligible for rewards from the Copernicus Beer DAO’s vault, with criteria and requirements outlined below.

When
The program runs for one year, starting on May 27 2024.

Brew Program Entrance Criteria

Eligibility
Brewers who are approved to participate in the CBBP can receive rewards from the Copernicus Beer DAO’s vault. To be eligible, participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a member of the Copernicus Beer DAO.
  • Complete a basic onboarding process to understand the DAO’s rules and brewing practices.
  • Agree to follow the DAO’s code of conduct and ethical brewing guidelines.

Brewing Cost Coverage
Participants in the CBBP can receive support for brewing costs, depending on the number of batches they brew:

  • 1 batch: Full cost coverage for the first 500 bottles or up to $500, whichever is lower.
  • 2 batch: Full cost coverage for the first 500 bottles or up to $500, whichever is lower.

This structure encourages brewers to grow and continue brewing while balancing the DAO’s resource allocation.

FAQ

Do I need to be onboarded or go through the CBBP to start brewing Copernicus Beer?
No, participation in the CBBP is not a prerequisite for brewing Copernicus Beer. Any member of the DAO can start brewing at any time. However, by joining the CBBP, you gain additional support and access to rewards that can enhance your brewing experience. Participation in the program is encouraged for those who want to accelerate their brewing journey and attract additional resources.

How can I apply to the CBBP?
To apply to the CBBP, submit an application form through the Copernicus Beer DAO’s online portal. The form will ask for basic information about your brewing experience, your goals within the DAO, and any relevant experience with DAO governance. Successful applicants will be notified and onboarded into the program.

Do I have to brew beer myself?
You don’t have to start a beer brewery in your shed to become a brewer of Copernicus Beer. The most common way is to find a brewery that is able to brew the beer following our recipe. In that case you  give a brewery an order to brew Copernicus beer.

Where can I get a Copernicus Beer DAO membership token?
You can find the available tokens here.
